Our Ethics
Every action we take is measured against a single standard — is it just, is it honest, and does it serve the purpose for which we were created? Ethics is not a policy for us. It is our identity.
- Justice in Every Decision
- Full Financial Transparency
- Serving with Sincerity
- Accountable to Our Donors
Why Ethics Matter
Ethics is the Foundation of Everything We Do
We believe that a charity which lacks ethical integrity, no matter how large its programs, is built on sand. Our donors, beneficiaries, volunteers, and partners deserve an organisation they can trust absolutely — and we hold ourselves to that standard every single day.
Six Pillars of Ethical Practice
Sincerity
We act solely for the pleasure of Allah and the betterment of those we serve. No decision is made for public acclaim, donor pressure, or institutional self-interest. Our intentions are renewed with every program, every meeting, and every interaction.
Transparency
We publish detailed annual financial reports, independent audit results, and program impact data accessible to all. Donors have the right to know exactly where their contributions go — and we deliver on that right without reservation.
Justice
We serve all beneficiaries without discrimination of tribe, sect, political affiliation, or social status. Resources are allocated based on need alone, assessed through rigorous community-based criteria developed with local leaders.
Truthfulness
We do not exaggerate our impact, manipulate statistics, or use emotionally exploitative imagery in our fundraising. We report our successes honestly and acknowledge our shortcomings openly, because earned trust is more valuable than inflated impressions.
Dignity
Every beneficiary is treated with full human dignity. We never photograph individuals without their informed consent, never share personal stories without permission, and never position our donors as saviours and our beneficiaries as objects of pity.
Accountability
We hold ourselves accountable to our Creator first, and then to our donors, beneficiaries, and the wider community. We maintain an independent ethics committee, an anonymous complaints mechanism, and regular third-party program evaluations.
